Planet over Profit survey at the Food Waste Cafe in North Camp

The above comments were made by people at the Food Waste Cafe held at North Camp Methodist Church Hall every Monday. Visitors to the cafe can collect donated food from a food movement known as Zero Hunger.

Blackwater Valley FoE set up a table in the cafe area and invited people to discuss and make comments on how to address the climate emergency. A summary of the comments is shown in the table below.

BVFoE are hoping to attend the cafe on future Mondays this year and collect further grass root comments from those going to the Food Waste Cafe. Once more results are collected we will share them with local politicians and those who might listen and help us make a difference.

BVFoE visited North Camp Methodist Church this morning and met with even more people using the services provided by zero hunger. Here is the update of results.

The messages today revolve around: Too much waste, efficiency and community. The people at North Camp Methodist Church using the facility are not the problem.
