This picture is of Crondall pond, the source of the River Hart, after a dry and very warm June. BvAR volunteers went out to look at sites on the local river system to find out how the water ways and nature are fairing after this month of unseasonal weather.

This weekend around 20 volunteers surveyed 23 sites on the waterways in the Blackwater Valley for nitrates and phosphates and also took a turgidity test.
