It was great to have a table alongside so many other organisations, individuals and groups sharing the concern of climate and nature and connected with Rushmoor. We had the time to speak with people involved in selling local and ethical products, standing up for clean water and nature and addressing issues to do with inequality. We were able to network and therefore used each others experiences more effectively as we move forward.
As time went along we were able to complete more of our Planet over Profit banner. In preparation for further campaign work. Space was tight in the room but pinned on the wall you can see our chart where we are collecting local people’s suggestions and ideas for transport, green jobs, clean energy and warmer homes. The ideas are being collated and will be sent to our MP and Council Leads.

We also asked our table visitors to write a pictoral message on a flag with suggestions as to how to make the area better for climate and nature. Some of the messages, created by small children, are powerfully expressed.
