Rushmoor’s Charter of Hope

Rushmoor’s Charter of Hope was put in the mail boxes of the 39 Rushmoor Councillors earlier today the 13th July 2026. Watch this space to see if there is any reaction.

“Blackwater Valley Friends of the Earth (BVFoE) members are sharing this card with you named the Rushmoor’s Charter of Hope. To obtain the information on the card members of BVFoE hosted table top surveys, in Rushmoor, earlier this year. We had conversations with local people and asking them to prioritise 4 out of 10 issues they would like to see addressed in Rushmoor. We thought you would be interested in the results. In order of priority the top 5 issues are:

  1. Lower energy bills and warmer homes
  2. Better public transport and healthy air
  3. Plant more trees and improve green spaces
  4. more resiliant communities
  5. Say no to harmful developments

We would also like to refer you to Local Ward Environmental Data, if you enter a post code for your Ward you can access a report for your Ward on home insulation, tree cover and air quality. Three areas that the Rushmoor Community have prioritised as important.
