The top row of 5 issues are to do with safer communities and the bottom row of 5 to do with better lives.
Monday 9th March 2026 was our first trial of using the Hope Charter Poster. Armed with counter and weights (to keep the poster flat) we went to listen to people visiting the Food Waste Cafe at North Camp Methodist Church Hall
This was a practice. We asked the public queuing for their turn to pick up edible food waste for help with our survey and gave them 4 counters: red, blue, yellow and green . Asking them to read the statements on the poster and pick the 4 points they prioritised and then rank them according to choice. We had good conversations whilst they did this. 17 people engaged with us.

It is quite surprising that the people of Rushmoor are so keen on farming when there are no farms in Rushmoor but they went for the idea of being self sufficient and buying local. What about the avocado I said?
Further analysis of the results revealed this. A red counter was first choice, blue second, yellow third and green forth. We therefore scored 4 points for a red counter and so on.

First and second choice row one (safer communities) are to do with Farming and Green Spaces.
First and second choice row two (better lives) are to do with Community, Transport and Green Jobs.
