Rushmoor Ecofair at Southwood 14th September 2024

BVFoE had a table at this event – we had a raffle to raise funds and also conducted a survey that looked at the co-benefits of taking climate action. According to the Grantham Institute there are multiple co-benefits of taking action on climate change. BVFoE conducted our own survey using information provided by the Grantham Institute.

The table above shows the results of the survey. There were 25 entries. Each individual or group prioritised their top three co-benefits of taking action on Climate Change. The most popular co-benefit was connecting with nature and biodiversity followed with warmer homes more affordable to heat and reducing risk of flooding and extreme heat. Our next stop is to take the survey to the event at Yateley on Saturday 21st September to add to the data.
